How to Remove a Yellow Cast Color in Photoshop CS5
- 1). Click on "Image," on Photoshop's menu bar.
- 2). Hover your mouse over "Adjustments" to open a sub menu. Click "Variations..." from this menu. The "Variations" window will open. The lower left pane will contain seven thumbnails of your image. The lower right pane will contain three thumbnails.
- 3). Click the radio button for "Midtones."
- 4). Drag the Intensity slider until it is exactly halfway between "coarse" and "fine."
- 5). Click the lowest, leftmost thumbnail, which is marked "More Blue." The thumbnail of your image that is labeled "Current Pick" will change accordingly, losing some of its yellow cast.
- 6). Repeat the previous step, until you are satisfied with the new tint.
- 7). Click the thumbnail in the lower-right pane marked "Lighter," until the thumbnail marked "Current Pick" is as dark as the original.
- 8). Click "OK" to apply your changes.
