Prepare for Photoshop CS3 Installation

• 1). Make sure computer system meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop CS3.
  
  
• 2). Scan computer system for viruses using a current antivirus software.
  
  
• 3). Defragment hard disks: Choose "Start," "Programs," "Accessories," "System Tools" and "Disk Defragmenter."
  
  
• 4). Clean up temporary files: Choose "Start," "Programs," "Accessories," "Systems Tools" and "Disk Cleanup."
  
  
• 5). Delete previously installed Adobe application files, if needed. Choose "Start," "Settings" and "Control Panel." Double click "Add or Remove Programs." Select Adobe Photoshop CS3. Click "Change/Remove." Restart computer.
  
  
• 6). Disable virus protection software.
  
  
• 7). Clean off any dirt, dust, or fingerprints from the Photoshop CS3 DVD. Using a soft, lint-free cloth, gently wipe from the center outward.
  
  

Install Photoshop CS3

• 1). Insert Photoshop CS3 Disk 1 into DVD-ROM drive.
  
  
• 2). Right click the Adobe CS3 folder and copy from the Photoshop CS3 DVD-ROM to the desktop. Open folder.
  
  
• 3). Double click the Setup.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
