How to Convert MS Word to ASCII
- 1). Launch Microsoft Word and open or create the document that is to be saved in ASCII format.
- 2). Click "File" on the toolbar.
- 3). Click "Save As" from the left window in the "File" menu.
- 4). Navigate to the desired location where the file will be saved.
- 5). Type the desired name for the file in the "File Name:" box.
- 6). Click the "Save As Type" dialog box and click the "Plain Text (*.txt)" entry in the list.
- 7). Click "Tools" and "Web Options."
