When Are White Ash Trees Mature?

    Time Frame

    • It takes the white ash at least 20 years to become fully mature. White ash trees can live up to 200 years and produce seed every two to three years.

    Size

    • White ash trees will grow to heights of 50 to 80 feet with a 45-foot spread when fully mature. They grow at about 2 feet per year. When mature, the tree has a rounded crown on top.

    Geography

    • White ash trees grow best when they get full sunlight. They prefer soil that is deep and moist, but well-drained also. Once established, transplanting young white ash trees is easy.
