Personalised Baby Gifts
My best friend has just had her third beautiful baby today and I just can't wait to meet him! The problem is that I feel under pressure to get her something extra special and personal considering I run a personalised baby gift company! I have many options available to me from creating my own personalised baby gift through to buying something which is engraved with the baby's name and age.
In the past I have already created for my friend a unique handmade necklace for her 30th and then made her some fingerprint jewellery for her daughters so I want to do something a bit different to make it an extra special personalised baby gift.
Something unique for her precious baby boy that they can both go on to cherish.
My first idea would be to make an extra special baby keepsake box for her which can have her baby's name, date of birth and weight on the lid and even a handprint or footprint while he is still very tiny.
This personalised baby gift will not only be practical but will also be something that will remain in the family for years to come as a keepsake.
I just need to decide whether I am going to hand decorate a cardboard baby keepsake box or pay for an upgraded wooden keepsake box to be personalised by an artist.

Another personalised baby gift idea I have had would be a hand painted personalised money box.
As it is a boy I could choose a train or something which could then go on to decorate his nursery as he grows older.
Or I could go more traditional and opt to have a silver plated baby money box engraved with a little message from me.
I am really only scratching the surface here as I could get a personalised baby blanket embroidered, a handprint mug or plate or a personalised set of cutlery for when he is older.
All this choice - Imagine if I was just getting a baby gift and hadn't narrowed it down to get something personalised! Perhaps I should just ask her what she would like for her new son - that way I am sure to get it right and ensure she really will go onto love this new personalised baby gift for a long time to come.
