How to Drag & Drop in iPod Manager
- 1). Open iTunes.
- 2). Click "Edit" in the menu bar. The click "Preferences."
- 3). Click the "Devices" tab in the Preferences window.
- 4). Click the check box next to "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads From Syncing Automatically." Click "OK."
- 5). Attach the iPod to the PC.
- 6). Locate the iPod under "Devices" in the left section of iTunes. Click it. The iPod's Summary pane will load to the right section of iTunes.
- 7). Click inside the "Manually Manage Music and Video" check box. Click the "Apply" button.
- 8). Click on the left section field of the library you want to add to the iPod. For example, if you want to add music to your iPod, click "Music" in the left section of iTunes under the Library heading. This will display all your iTunes music files in the right section of the program window.
- 9). Double-click and hold a file to select it, then drag the file to your iPod's name under "Devices." Release the file to drop it into the iPod's library. Repeat this for every file you want to add to the device.

Click "Apply" to apply the changes to your iPod.
