How Do I Create Playlists on an iPod?
- 1). Tap the "Playlists" icon on your home screen.
- 2). Swipe your finger downward to bring up the on-screen editing controls. Tap the "Add" button.
- 3). Tap the "Songs" or "Albums" options. The Songs or Albums list will load to your screen. Tap each item you want to add to the playlist.
- 4). Swipe your finger left after making a selection to continue adding content to the playlist.
- 5). Tap the "Done" button at the top of the screen when you are finished. The iPod will save new playlists in the order you create them. For example, if this is the first playlist you've created on your Nano, the iPod will save it as "New Playlist 1."
- 1). Navigate to a song you want to add to the new playlist. Select the song.
- 2). Press and hold the "Center" button until a menu appears. Select the "Add to On-The-Go" option and then press the "Center" button again. Repeat this step for each song you want to add to the playlist.
- 3). Navigate to an album you want to add to a playlist. Select the album title. Press and hold the "Center" button until a menu appears. Select the "Add to On-The-Go" option and then press the "Center" button again. Repeat this step for each album you want to add to the playlist.
- 4). Open the "Music" tab from the iPod Classic main menu. Select "Playlists."
- 5). Choose "On-The-Go" from the Playlists page. Then select the "Save" option. The iPod will save new playlists in the order you create them. For example, if this is the first playlist you've created, the iPod will save it as "New Playlist 1."
