How to Download 2.0 Firmware Onto an iPhone
- 1). Plug the USB cable into the bottom of your iPhone, and connect the other end into your computer's USB port.
- 2). Click "Start," "All Programs," "Apple" and "iTunes" to run iTunes on a PC. For Macintosh computers, click the "iTunes" icon on your desktop's dock or open the Applications folder in Finder and double-click the "iTunes" icon.
- 3). Click the "iPhone" tab under the "Devices" section in the iTunes sidebar. Right-click the tab and click "Back Up" from the pop-up menu.
- 4). Click the "Check for Update" button in the "Summary" section, and click the "Download and Install" button on the dialog box.
