Politicians Forget That It Is Our White House and Not Theirs
He specifically states "his White Office.
"Possibly, this small nuance has passed by the majority of U.
S.
citizens.
Yet, I am confused as to when the White House belonged to a President less alone a presidential candidate? Or for that matter, when did Courtrooms from the local to the federal levels belonged to judges? Our founding fathers wanted a republican government by the people and for the people.
The White House was established as the people's house in which the current President is a caretaker resident until the next President comes along.
The Courtrooms are the people's Courtrooms.
Neither the White House nor the Courtrooms belong to the individuals charged with protecting the Rule of Law.
Unfortunately, most U.
S.
citizens fail to discern these small nuances when those in public office speak.
We have been conditioned to the 15 seconds to 30 seconds sound bites.
Possibly, this is why some in politics dislike Talk Radio because their sound bites are dissected and reveal these undiscovered truths? Of course, most U.
S.
citizens due to the failure of the public educational systems do not know that we actually live in a Republic and not a democracy.
During a recent conversation with a college instructor acquaintance, she insisted that we in the United States live in a democracy.
My response was "I will give you $50 if you can find the word 'democracy' in the Constitution of the United States.
"Even the Pledge of Allegiance has the word Republic and the word democracy or democratic is no where to be found.
So far, she has not been able to win the $50.
NOTE:In Article Four, Section Four of the Constitution of the United States, there is the following stated: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.
" However, due to those with other questionable and sometimes nefarious agendas including currently elected officials, want the American citizenry to believe we live in a democracy so that they can have their White House and their Courtrooms as the expense of the U.
S.
legal citizens.
Plato alerted us thousands of years ago about individuals who have their own agendas when he said: The partisan, when he is engaged in a dispute, cares nothing about the rights of the question, but is anxious only to convince his hearers of his own assertions.
Today's politicians including judges care only about what they want (their own assertions whether truthful or not) and truly do not care about this country.
And maybe this is why so many of us who are educated as the origins of our government are beginning to believe that the Republic is dead.
