Hosted by the editors at Quit-Smoking-Comparison.com, the Facebook group hopes to gain 1,000,000 visitors by the first of the year. Parents are the focus for this year, appropriately in a time of economic challenges.
Family is the Future
The group is highlighting the importance of family in promoting healthy lifestyles. People are often products of their environment, and active parents can play a large part in all childrens' lives, no matter their age. "Parents are the most influential members of our society, and have the most power to bring about change to future generations," the Quit Smoking Resolution 2011 page on Facebook poignantly asserts.
Social Networking and Support
In years' past, real world support groups were often the only avenues through which people could jointly help one another towards conquering cigarette addiction.
