  The dinosaurs were powerful, gigantic and fairly violent. Commemorating that, a huge number of dinosaur games are all over the the Internet, and many of them involve two of the titanic beasts doing battle. You can see what it would be like for a T. rex to battle a triceratops, or you can take on a horde of dinosaurs.

Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs

• Head to head battles between the titans of the dinosaur world are the focus of this game. In the web version, you start off with a couple of fighters, the T. rex and the triceratops, which you can customize and fight. By playing the Nintendo DS version of the game, however, you can unlock a whole host of giant fighters and defeat your foes with them.
  
  

Arny's Robot Dinosaur Army

• Channel your inner Indiana Jones as you play Arny, an archaeologist accused of theft by the robot guardians of an Aztec tomb. You must take on the enemy robots with a laser gauntlet you discover, and work your way to clear your name and save your life from the giant foes.
  
  

Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar

• The title of the game should give you a hint of the ridiculousness and sheer light-hearted, almost campy, fun of the title. In this game, you play as one of two robot dinosaurs: Dinomight and Tyranosaurus X. It's designed to take on the feeling of a classic arcade game while still being a fresh and up to date.
  
  

Primal Rage

• A classic arcade title, also released for the original PlayStation console, pitted a number of creatures loosely based on dinosaurs in a brutal, bloody fighter game. Two players would battle against the cast of fighters in the game, and gain respect from villagers who would come to watch the titans do battle. It was even possible to eat and kill some of your opponent's--and even your own--villagers.
