First, only your physician can prescribe this particular type of electric mobility for you.
So please do not order any mobility aids until you have visited him and received an order prescription.
The physician must also document formal notes in your medical records saying that you need the mobility scooter.
And then give you a signed and dated prescription! After this, the order or prescription must then be received by the supplier before actual billing is done with Medicare.
And it is required that the supplier MUST keep this billing and order on file.
