The BSA Royal Star was a classic parallel twin British bike. These bikes sold well until Japanese motorcycles began to dominate the market later in the 60s.

Popular in the 60s was the cafe racer styling as seen on this particular bike. Owners would buy aftermarket tuning parts and racer style seats, tanks and exhaust system. The bikes were named cafe racers as owners would often race from one transport cafe to another.

The most famous cafe was the Ace Cafe in London
