How to Locate Undelivered Federal Savings Bonds
- 1). Download and print out Form 3062-4 from the TreasuryDirect website. See Resources for a link to the form.
- 2). Gather your information. You will need to provide information on the date of purchase and names listed on the face of the bond. The form will also ask you to provide the addresses and Social Security numbers for the names on the face of the bond.
- 3). Indicate how you would like to be compensated for the undelivered bond in Section 5. You can request a substitute bond or direct payment of the purchase price.
- 4). Provide delivery instruction in section 6. You can either provide an address or a bank account and routing number for the funds.
