Mesa AC Unit Installation
- 1). Unplug the Mesa Boogie amplifier from its electrical outlet and then unplug the speaker cabinet cables from the back of the amplifier.
- 2). Remove the screws that hold the rear cover onto the amplifier and then place the cover off to the side. A standard Phillips screwdriver works to remove the screws.
- 3). Trace the power cord until you locate the transformer. The cord wires to the transformer. The transformer looks like a square box.
- 4). Remove both wire nuts that secure the cord to the wires coming from the transformer and then pull the wires apart.
- 5). Unplug the wire harness from the transformer.
- 6). Remove the bolts that secure the transformer to the amplifier’s chassis. Use a box wrench to remove the bolts.
- 7). Place the new transformer onto the chassis and secure it with the original bolts.
- 8). Push the wire harness connector into the connector slot on the transformer.
- 9). Twist the wires coming from the transformer together with the wires coming from the cord. Twist the wire nuts onto the ends of the wires to protect the connection.

Place the rear cover onto the back of the amplifier and secure it with the screws.
