Embracing the Process of Creating Success
I want it to happen Sooner rather than later.
Know what I mean? But, everything I have studied since I joined the Network Marketing Industry, has suggested that You must stay in the game LONG enough to allow the seeds you plant to take root and produce a harvest.
There is very little focus on the HOW you are supposed to do this.
I decided to explore this for myself.
I have heard story after story of Network Marketing success.
Some guys build there business and income up to a 20,000 dollar level in 6 months.
While others start and build for 7 years.
They all reach the finish line, but in different time frames.
What is a common idea shared by all the people who did succeed? IT WAS WORTH IT.
That's the lesson, no matter how long it took them to build their successful businesses.
What is the lesson for us Networkers still in the PROCESS of building our business? What about the guys who are still in the field trying to build a team? To begin with, we must always begin with your commitment to personal development.
If this was a 'philosophy' I was describing, we would say that this is an axiom.
An axiom is a truth that is not able to be reduced to another concept.
In this case this is not true.
We can reduce this idea to other concepts, but for our purpose today, we will say that Personal Development is an axiom in the philosophy of building a network marketing business.
You must begin here and end here.
Your "independent study", is another way to say, become a 'focused' network marketer.
Become an Independent Scholar.
Become the expert.
There is only one way to GROW through the challenges you will face during the process of building your Network Marketing Business.
What way is that? It is your ability to learn and be coachable.
It is your ability to lead yourself.
And to sum it all up, you must strengthen your WILL.
The Will is the foreman and the thoughts are the workmen.
The Will must direct and keep the thoughts in line with your definite major purpose or goal.
Many of us know about the process.
They say this is a 2 to 3 year plan all the time.
We know about it, but we still want things to happen fast.
The funny part is that we can speed up the process simply by following the systems in place.
And then taking those action steps (from the system), and doubling them.
If the system calls for 2 exposures per day, a person who wants things to be sped up can do 6 exposures and cut his learning curve to a third of the time! Its so simple its crazy! Its what Jeff Olson calls the 'Slight Edge'.
Its easy to do and easy not to do.
The question is: How fast do you REALLY want it? Thanks, Dion Morrison, the paperchaser
