    • 1). Disconnect the device from the computer's port as soon as you see the cursor begin to jump across the screen. Click "Start" and "Control Panel".

    • 2). Open "System", "Hardware", "Device Manager" and "Mice".

    • 3). Right-click on the icon of the device that is causing the jumping cursor and select "Disable". Close the Device Manager to save this edit.

    • 4). Shut down your computer and disconnect it from its power supply. Plug the device back into the computer port while it is turned off.

    • 5). Connect your computer to the power supply and restart it with the device attached.
