Few things are more painful then a relationship in trouble.
After reading these warning signs on when to end a relationship it will be a lot easier to decide if you want to bring things to an end or give your relationship another try.
Respect is probably the biggest issue when it comes to relationships.
However people have different definitions on what respect may mean.
What I am talking about here is mutual respect.
The only way to tell if there is respect is by the words you use to one another.
If there is down talking, contempt or annoyance in the tone of voice when describing you partner then the relationship may have no chance.
This is very important.
Another problem arises if you don't respect the other person and how they act towards others.
It's very difficult to love someone you don't respect.
Some people are just two faced.
They act like two different people.
They may be nice, attractive, good and fun loving in one situation and a total jerk in another.
Even worse is someone involved in illegal or immoral behavior.
These are the type of people you want to stay clear from.
Which brings me to my next point on when to end a relationship.
Immediately get out of the relationship if your with an abusive partner, mentally or physically.
I'm talking to women and men here.
Physical and mental abuse can happen to men just as easily as women.
If you think your in a relationship like this get help immediately.
Cheating! Wow this is a big one.
Each person handles this differently.
If your partner doesn't seem to have any guilt, remorse or sympathy and demonstrates a multiple pattern of infidelities, it may be time to say goodbye.
Besides the emotional devastation it creates there are also the physical dangers as well.
Substance abuse can kill a relationship.
If you find yourself seeking out people with a drug or alcohol problem you might be in a codependent relationship.
If your partner is willing to get help and recover, leaving may not be the best thing to do.
However if they are not willing to seek assistance in kicking their drug or alcohol problem then ending things may be the best action to take.
