Pork Chops with Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or olive oil cooking spray
- 4 to 6 pork chops
- spicy seasoning blend for pork or chicken, or salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 4 tablespoons marmalade
- 1 tablespoons white wine vinegar or white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 70 minutes
- Total Time: 80 minutes
Preparation
Heat oven to 325°. Lightly grease a 2-quart shallow baking dish.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Wash pork chops and pat dry. Season with the seasoning blend and brown in the hot skillet for about 4 minutes on each side.
Transfer pork chops to the baking dish. Combine the remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Pour over the chops. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove the foil and bake for 10 minutes longer.
Serves 4.
