There are ways to prevent it from happening.
We all know the seventh commandment reads, "Thou shall not commitment adultery".
While the Ten Commandments are the laws that we should follow in our day to day lives, some do not.
So you need to prevent an affair from happening in your marriage.
Communication is one key to a solid marriage relationship.
Try to pay attention to your wife's needs.
Remember that men and women are different in how they communicate.
Remember when you first started dating and you hung onto every word that your wife said.
You probably listened to her differently as well.
If your spouse is doing something or not doing something, you need to discuss this with them in a loving way rather than finding someone else.
This how affairs begin.
It's usually one of the parties involved begins to share their thoughts and feelings with a member of the opposite sex.
The next thing you know someone ends up in bed with someone other than their spouse.
Finally if infidelity has occurred please seek out a professional Christian Counselor to help you start the healing process, even if you have to go by yourself at first.
And remember that through God all things are possible.
