How to Decorate a Pumpkin With Printables
- 1). Cut out the printable facial features along their outlines. At minimum, you should have a mouth and two eyes. You may also want to add a nose, two ears, a silly tongue and a bow tie or other accessories, such as earrings for female pumpkins.
- 2). Color the facial feature printouts with crayons. If you have children participating in the craft, let them decide on the colors and patterns the features should have.
- 3). Peel glue dots off the sheet and stick them to the backs of the facial features. For features such as ears and nose that stick out, most printable features will have a dotted line indicating a fold. Fold the tab back and place a glue dot on the tab instead of the back of the feature.
- 4). Stick the features to the pumpkin, arranging them into a silly face. Stick the tongue directly to the mouth and stick any features with tabs, such as ears, with only the tab against the pumpkin so the rest of the paper is sticking out.
- 5). Glue a handful of gift basket filler paper to the top of the pumpkin as hair.
