Special Corporate Gifts
- Sometimes, a special corporate gift is in order. For example, you might need to come up with an extra-special gift if you are trying to impress an important client. Special corporate gifts are also a good idea when you choose a reward for an employee who has done a good job. There are lots of options to choose from, but be sure to select a gift that fits the occasion.
- A gift basket could make a professional, yet special, corporate gift idea. Choose a gift basket with a specific theme. For example, fill a basket with a couple nice bottles of wine or champagne. Next, include wine accessories, such as a bottle opener, a wine saver or a couple crystal glasses. Include some gourmet items in the gift basket as well. You could go with a few different types of gourmet cheeses along with breads or multi-grain crackers. Another idea is a selection of gourmet chocolates that will complement the wine.
- When you are trying to impress a corporate client, consider a flashy gift idea, such as a helicopter ride. Many large metropolitan areas have helicopter companies that offer rides over the city or a nearby coastline. Schedule the helicopter ride for early in the morning or in the late afternoon so that you can watch the sun rise or set over the view. Some companies might even allow you to bring wine, Champagne or gourmet snacks along for the ride. You could also give this gift to an employee as a reward for a job well done.
- Another special gift idea is a picture frame. Choose this gift for someone who works for a corporation and is deserving of a nice gift. Choose a silver frame and insert a photo of her and her co-workers, or her at work. Then, have the picture frame engraved with her name or her initials. If she has recently won an award or had some other noteworthy accomplishment at work, engrave something about it on the picture frame as well as a keepsake of her success.
- Many people who might receive a corporate gift likely travel frequently for their work. Choose an item that can make that travel more convenient; for example, a global positioning system for someone who drives often. A person who flies might prefer a small, handheld DVD player so that he can pass the time on long flights.
