How to Make Your Own Alcohol Based Ink
- 1). Add the mica mineral pigment powder to the mixing dish you have selected. Mica mineral powder is found in craft supply shops and comes in virtually every color.
- 2). Add two or three drops of rubbing alcohol to the dish of pigment powder. Stir the contents with a disposable stirring wand until it forms a sort of paste.
- 3). Add the rest of the rubbing alcohol gradually, stirring with the wand as you do. The gradual addition of the alcohol dissolves the pigment adequately.
- 4). Suck up the resulting ink with a disposable pipette and then inject it into the inkwell or bottle you have selected.
