- Water Bowl - make sure the waterbowl is sturdy enough so your new puppy or dog won't knock it over whendrinking.

- Leash - You will need a regularwalking leash and you might also want to consider a long training leash(lead) or a retractable leash
- Collar - Make sure the collar youget is big enough so when your puppy grows you don't need to get anotherone
- Dog Food - Your should ask thebreeder that you get your dog from (or the shelter) what type of food yourdog is on.
If you would like to provide your dog with a different brand ofdog food, then mix the new food with the old food slowly.
If you start giving your dog a differentbrand of food right away, he or she might not eat it. - A vet - You should always choose avet that you are comfortable with before you get your puppy.
After all, your dog will needvaccinations in the first few months and every year after that. - Toys - Toys are a necessity fordogs, especially puppies.
Not onlyare they fun, but if you don't provide your puppy with toys, they mightend up destroying your house out of boredom.
