  Sony released the Ericsson C902 mobile phone in June of 2008. The candy bar style slider phone is part of Sony's line of Cyber-shot devices that combine extensive camera features with a sleek design. A wide variety of features makes the Ericsson C902 suitable for many different uses. The Ericsson C902 is compatible with GSM and UMTS cellular networks.
  
  

Size

• The phone measures 4.3 inches long, 1.9 inches wide and 0.4 inch deep. With a weight of 3.8 ounces, the C902 is a little heavier than it looks. The screen is a 2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. With an 18-bit color depth, the C902 is able to display 262,000 colors. The screen features an accelerometer sensor that rotates the screen when the phone is turned. An internal memory of 160MB is included but the phone's memory expands to a maximum of 8GB with Memory Stick Micro M2 SD cards.
  
  

Features

• Along with telephone calls, the C902 allows users to communicate using SMS, MMS, Push Email, and Instant Messaging. Internet access is available using the WAP 2.0 browser. Polyphonic ringtones come with the phone by default but it also supports MP3 and AAC audio files. Most Sony Ericsson phones have broad music player features and this model boasts the same traits. The C902 allows users to listen to music via stereo FM radio as well as MP3 and AAC files. Swift Black, Titanium Silver, Luscious Red and Cinnamon Bronze are the four colors available for the C902.

• As part of the Ericsson Cyber-shot line, the C902 utilizes camera features not found in many other phones. The 5-megapixel camera uses an LED flash and autofocus. Pictures taken by the phone have a resolution of 2,592 by 1,944 pixels. Advanced features of the camera on the C902 include image stabilization and face detection. The phone can upload images to websites or you can share them via email using its Internet connection. The camera can also record video at 30 frames per second.

• Power is supplied to the Sony Ericsson C902 by a standard Lithium-ion polymer 930 milliamp hour battery. Battery life ratings for the phone are 360 hours of standby time with 3G cellular coverage and 400 hours with 2G coverage. Talk time ratings are 4 hours with 3G coverage and 9 hours with 2G coverage. While the phone can last several days between charges, extended life batteries are available for users that would like the phone to last even longer.
