How to Put in Weave to Make it Look Like Its Your Real Hair
- 1). Brush your hair straight back from the front of your forehead to back of your neck, making sure that your hair lies completely flat against your scalp.
- 2). Cover the entire top of your head with a wave cap, making sure that all of your hair is covered. Place a paper towel on top of the wave cap and then place a second wave cap on top of everything.
- 3). Measure the distance from ear to ear, starting at the bottom of your hair online behind your head on the nape of your neck. Cut a piece of weave track to the same width. Repeat this measurement in the front of your head, measuring from ear to ear and cutting a piece of weave track to the same width.
- 4). Move upwards toward the top of your head and repeat this process of measuring and cutting until you reach the crown of your head. A small circle should be the only area left unmeasured and untouched.
- 5). Cut a 2-inch piece of hair weave to cover the very top of your head. Apply a small bead of bonding glue to the back of this hair piece and apply it to the very top of your head.
- 6). Apply a bead of glue in a circular pattern, covering the top most area on your head you just measured. Apply the sections of hair weave that fits at the top of your head, making sure to press the weave tightly against your head to ensure it is properly adhered to the glue.
- 7). Comb through your hair weave pieces to separate the hairs and avoid any clumping.
- 8). Flatten the hair weave sections together (the 2-inch piece at the crown of your head and the pieces of weave that lie right underneath it) using your flat iron.
- 9). Work from top to bottom and repeat the process of applying glue, applying the appropriate hair weave sections, combing the hair and using a flat iron to flatten the pieces together until your entire head is covered with hair weave pieces.
