The Banana Lesson

  Have the youth form two groups. Each group gets a banana that they will cut up. Provide them with tape, glue, staples and tacks and ask them to put the banana back together. The lesson to be learned is that it is hard for them to undo the errors that they make in life. They need to think carefully before each action.
  
  

Ten Plagues Game

  Divide the youth into two or more teams. Pass out squares of paper, about 1 square inch, with a different plague written on each one. You'll need a set of ten for each group. With a stop watch, have each team try to place the plagues in the correct order in which they occurred. The team with the fastest time wins.
  
  

Chosen By God Skit

  The characters are some kids, a "left-out" kid, and the voice of God. Some kids pick teams to play a sport but leave one kid out. The kid feels alone and unwanted. Suddenly, there is a voice (God) that says, "I choose you!" The kid doesn't believe it is God, so God describes the events of the kid's past and how he was watching over him/her the entire time. God points out all the gifts He has blessed the kid with. The scripture this is representing is Ephesians 2:8-9, which says how God chose us and blessed us.
  
  

Paper Plate Game

  Everyone sits in a circle and gets a paper plate and a marker. Have each person write her name on her plate. Now, each player passes the plate to the left and the person who gets the plate will write a one-word character description of the person named on the plate. They may also write a one-word positive adjective or description of the person. Play continues until each person gets his own plate back. This exercise is about how different people view us.
