For instance, I live in Hamilton County so I would type in Hamilton county clerk of courts and push enter. Every clerk of courts website is designed differently so when you get there you want to find and click court records. - 3). After you do this it will usually give you the option on how you want to search; by name, case number, attorney name or judge's name. I always choose by name because sometimes that's all the information I have.

If you choose search by name it will let you choose which type of court you want to search; common pleas civil, municipal, or criminal and traffic. Click on which court you want to find information on someone and it will ask you to enter the person's last name first and then their first name. - 5). You can usually enter a date range too; push submit and if there are any court records on this person they will appear. If there is more than one person that shares the same name look for their middle initial.

The information is listed by individual cases pertaining to this subject. Click on the case you want to view and all information about that case will be visible unless it is sealed from public view for some reason.
