Before I begin this article, I'd just like to say that this is not a method I have personally tested.
Having said that I know it works.
I've spoken to people who have done it.
I've read about people that have done it.
It can be done, and you can do it, too! Here's the process: Step #1 Find Niche PLR Find a top quality product in a high demand niche.
The product must be in a niche that already has information products that sell well.
The product should be at least 25 pages, top quality and if it comes with a salespage then that's an added bonus.
Step #2 Edit The eBook Take sections out, add sections in, change the wording, change the content, reformat the layout, add images, change the chapter headings, rename the eBook.
Also, add links to related affiliate products.
Step #3 Write/Edit Salespage If a salespage came with your purchase, then completely restructure it.
Without generalising too much, the salespages that come with most PLR packages are absolute rubbish.
Edit the salespage sufficiently so that it is not recognisable from the original.
If the package didn't come with a salespage, then get working on one.
Step #4 Graphics If the product came with graphics - dispose of them.
We want the product to look totally original.
If you want graphics on your salespage, then go and hire someone to design some for you.
Graphics are not essential.
Step #5 Record The eBook as mp3 If you're lucky then your PLR product came with an mp3 recording, if not it doesn't matter, it doesn't take too long to do.
Simply record your product as an mp3 (we'll be using this later) Step #6 Thank You Page Create a thank you page which does 3 things: collects the name and email address of your buyer, allows the buyer to download the pdf of the product and gives the buyer the opportunity to purchase the mp3 version of the product.
Step #7 Pricing Sell the pdf product for between $10 and $20 and then offer the mp3 up sell for around $10 or $15.
Step #8 Traffic Time to get traffic to your salespage now.
* If you have a list in this niche, send them to your salespage.
* Write articles or have them written for you and submit them to directories.
* Participate in niche forums and leave your link back to your salespage in your sig.
* Answer questions on Yahoo Answers and link back to your salespage.
* If you have a blog or website in this niche, link back to your salespage.
* Set up an affiliate programme.
Give affiliates and JV partners 75% (or more) of sales on the front end...
you can profit from the backend.
Step #9 Additional Profits Step #9.
1 One way you can make more money from this model is by selling the MRR or PLR to the product (if you have rights to do so).
If you notice sales start to dry up, then you could send an email to your list of buyers offering them the resale rights for $27 or the private label rights for $47.
This would seriously dent your sales of the product as you will be competing with more people but can give you a dramatic influx of profits - especially if you have a lot of buyers.
Step #9.
2 This is much more sustainable.
Simply use your list as a virtual ATM machine.
Send them to affiliate products, other PLR products you convert, or products you create yourself.
Of course, you should also send your subscribers top quality content, in fact that should be your main focus.
But you can also profit immensely from this list.
Step #9.
3 This is a much different angle.
Simply follow the process to Step #5.
Instead of selling the report for $10 a piece to a lot of buyers, simply sell the rights to the entire package to one person.
You could sell it for a four figure sum if it's good enough.
Wouldn't you pay four figures for a product in a proven niche market, with a well written salespage and quality graphics? The power of PLR is undeniable.
