How to Format a Mini SD Card for the Dash S620 Phone
- 1). Visit the SD Association's home page and download the SD Formatter 2.0 software (see Resources). The SD Association is responsible for setting and overseeing the standards followed in the development, production and use of SD cards. The SD Association recommends that SD cards be formatted using the SD Formatter 2.0 software.
- 2). Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the SD Formatter 2.0 software.
- 3). Insert the microSD card into the microSD-to-SD adapter, then insert the adapter into your computer's SD card reader.
- 4). Open the SD Formatter 2.0 software, then select the SD card reader drive from the drop-down menu at the top of the software window.
- 5). Click "Format" to format the microSD card.
