How to Jewel a Jacket
- 1). Arrange the jewels on the jacket in an attractive pattern by grouping or lining them up, keeping in mind that symmetrical patterns are often the most pleasing aesthetically.
- 2). Lift up a jewel from the jacket and apply a spot of glue to that spot with the fabric glue applicator stick. The amount of glue that you place on the fabric should correspond to the size of the jewel. Larger jewels will require more glue.
- 3). Press the back of the jewel into the glue spot on the jacket within seconds of applying the glue to the fabric. Hold the jewel in place for a few seconds.
- 4). Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each additional jewel.
- 5). Allow the jewels to dry for 24 hours before moving or wearing the jacket, or turning the jacket over to apply jewels to the other side.
- 1). Arrange jewels on the jacket.
- 2). Firmly move the iron over the jewel pattern on the jacket. The iron should be steaming hot.
- 3). Hold the iron over each portion of the jewel arrangement for five to seven seconds until the jewels have melted into the jacket.
