How To Lose Weight The Right Way And Keep It Off For Good

How to lose weight is an age old question for many people who've been battling the bulge for their entire lives.
You've tried the fad diets, you've tried all the celebrity endorsed diets, you even broke out the Atkins diet and, in a last ditch effort to get the chub off, you finally broke down and started "Sweatin' To The Oldies" with Richard Simmons, but to no avail.
You'd lose weight for awhile, but it would always come creeping back on gradually and before you knew it you were just as fat as before, sometimes worse.
Well, I'm about to share with you something that many people never learn.
Some people try every diet under the sun with great expectations and enthusiasm, but they never figure out where the real problem lies.
Are you ready? Here it is...
The problem lies in your mind.
I know what you're thinking right now.
You're looking down at your belly hanging over your belt line and trying to figure out how that has anything whatsoever to do with your head.
Am I right? Well, the problem is not in the diet that you choose.
The problem is that once you've reached your weight loss goal you go right back to what you were doing before and gain it all back.
You see, dieting is only a temporary fix.
You have to train your mind into a new way of thinking and a new way of living.
This is similar to the alcoholic that used to drink 20 beers and a fifth of booze every day until he passed out.
He just couldn't imagine giving all of that up because it seemed like a huge task giving up that intake of alcohol.
Then one day, he spoke to a lady that had been clean and sober for over 20 years and after explaining his problem to her she said simply "when you get hit by a train, it's not the caboose that kills you".
At first he didn't understand, but then it lit up in his head and he understood.
He was trying to stop drinking 20 beers and a fifth each day, but all he needed to really focus on was not drinking the first beer.
The first one triggered the rest.
This was much more manageable for him to do.
After all, anyone can not drink one, right? That guy has been sober for over three years now, at the time of this writing.
This same philosophy applies to how to lose weight.
If you have binging problems that make you feel incredibly guilty and pack on your pounds, then you have to stop taking that first bite.
Don't eat the first Twinkie, don't eat the first slice of pizza, don't take the first act of what it is that puts you out of control.
The caboose didn't make you fat.
It wasn't the LAST bite of anything that made you fat.
It was the first.
Starting to eat the wrong foods in the first place.
So if you've been wondering how to lose weight and keep it off, without having to constantly diet, then your answer lies here.
Know what your weaknesses are and don't start the binge.
Get with a Nutritionist and make a healthy menu plan for your every day life, add an exercise program and stick to them.
Take control of your life right now and stop letting the train hit you.
