One of the best ways of getting a message across is telling a story.
So rather than saying "I have a product for you" you tell a story of how you actually came across a particular product or service...
the problems you faced before getting your hands on it...
and then how your life has changed as a result of all of this.
Most businesses can apply this...
A mechanic could request permission from one of his customers to talk about all the challenges he found in finding the right mechanic.
And how it's made his life so much easier since he has.
In fact, any business could do this.
For instance, an accountant could get their client to talk about how much tax they were wasting, but now they are saving a fortune after finding your service, etc.
A restaurant owner could talk about how he was sick of going to restaurants and not being able to find good, organic, healthy food...
so he decided to create a restaurant which delivered this himself.
I think you get the picture.
The bottom line is stories are powerful.
After having a child, I know this for sure.
It's somehow hardwired into us and I can't tell you how many stories I have told about Batman, Robin, the Joker, Riddler, Penguin and Catgirl over the past year Stories reach us on a deeper level.
You can say, I can fix your car better than anybody else.
Or you can tell a story which shows why this is true.
