Remove the Icon Temporarily

• 1). Find the red Windows Security Center icon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop.
  
  
• 2). Right-click on the icon.
  
  
• 3). Scroll down and select "Exit".
  
  

Disable Icon

• 1). Click the "Start" button. Click "Control Panel".
  
  
• 2). Click the "Security Center" icon. Select the "Change the way Security Center alerts me" link in the left column of the window that appears.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Don't notify me and don't display the icon (not recommended)" option. Close the window.
