    • 1). Turn the credit card over so that the side with the magnetic strip and signature box are facing you.

    • 2). Read the small print, typically found on the bottom of the card. You will find a sentence, such as "Your card is issued and serviced by Chase Bank USA." This is the card-issuing bank.

    • 3). Check your credit card statement. The name of the card-issuing bank, its address and phone number are outlined on every credit card statement, typically on the page describing your current statement balance.

    • 4). Read the terms for the credit card if you want to find the card-issuing bank for a credit card that you do not own. The terms can be found on all credit card applications, both those in printed pamphlets and those on the credit card's website. The card-issuing bank is noted in the terms.
