How to Set Up DHCP on a Mac

    • 1). Click the "System Preferences" icon in the Mac dock.

    • 2). Click the "Network" icon.

    • 3). Click the network interface for which you wish to configure DHCP in the left column of the window. For example, click "Ethernet."

    • 4). Click "Using DHCP" in the "Configure IPv4" box. Alternatively, click "Using DHCP with manual address" and then type in an IP address.

    • 5). Click "Apply" to save the settings.
