How to Remove Burn Marks on a Metal Stove
- 1). Spray glass cleaner over the metal stove and wipe it down with a paper towel to remove any food debris that would get in the way during the scorch mark removal process.
- 2). Soak a sponge in white vinegar and use the rough, no scratch, plastic scrubbing side of the sponge to scrub away the scorch marks. White vinegar is a mild acid that wont damage metal surfaces.
- 3). Sprinkle baking soda over the metal stove if you can still see the stains.
- 4). Scrub the baking soda into the marks with a toothbrush until they are gone.
- 5). Rinse the metal with clear water and dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth to prevent water streaks from developing.
