After ripping up Todd’s proof for a front page, Kelly tells Todd that The Sun will be run from a different, more positive perspective – rather than all the trash talking Todd has done. Todd doesn’t seem to thrilled with the idea but warms up to it when Kelly shows him the declining circulation numbers. Kelly receives another call, this time the caller tells Kelly that her mother was murdered. Todd puts a few private investigators on the case – one to trace the call, another to check out the place Melinda was staying.

Kelly has another idea – she’s going to see Mitch Laurence.

Starr catches Langston with Ford, after they’ve just had sex. Langston and Ford play it off as Ford coming to see Markko. Starr notices that Langston is acting very strange, Langston blames it on the pressure of writing the musical. Starr finds a condom wrapper on the floor and laughs it off as a Langston and Markko roll in the hay. Langston becomes very defensive, which leads Starr to believe that Langston is hiding something. Starr asks Langston if she and Ford had sex.

Cole goes to see Markko, Markko tells Cole about the button of Langston’s that he found in Ford’s office. Cole tells Markko that in no way is Langston cheating on him, but he better watch out for Ford – who is a player and doesn’t care who he hurts. Hannah overhears everything, she sees Ford come into the Buenos Dias and confronts him about sleeping with Langston. Cole overhears the whole conversation.

Schuyler panics when he learns that Gigi is at the door, he begs Tea to stay quiet until Gigi goes away. Gigi bangs on the door until Schuyler answers, all Gigi wants is to see Sierra Rose.

Tea goes legal on Gigi, saying that she’s not allowed if Schuyler doesn’t want her to see the baby. Gigi pleads with Schuyler to just let her hold Sierra, but Schuyler can’t. Gigi didn’t think it was possible for Schuyler to hurt her anymore that he already had. Schuyler thanks Tea for backing him up, Tea has to do some damage control before Elijah sends over another social worker, she promises to be quiet about the kidnapping until Allison calls.

John and Fish figure out that Roxy must know something or be in on something with Allison, John goes to confront Roxy. Meanwhile, Bo tells Rex that he’ll talk to Clint in regards to him helping Kim gain custody of Sierra Rose. Fish interrupts Bo and Rex with news that Sal, the Security Guard, identified Allison (who was dressed as Roxy) as the person who went to see Mitch. Rex thinks the only way to get to the bottom of Allison’s plan, and to find out where Allison is, is to go see Mitch. Bo forbids Rex to step foot in Statesville, knowing the type of mind games Mitch would play with Rex. Rex agrees not to do see Mitch, he runs into Gigi. Gigi explains what happened at Schuyler’s, Rex is confident that they will win the custody battle tomorrow. With all of the “father” talk, Fish begins to think that he needs to know if he is Sierra’s father.

Natalie is horrified to see Allison among the living, Allison explains that she and Mitch have more plans and secrets to unfold. Natalie wonders what Allison’s secret is about her family but Allison isn’t giving up any information. John is at the door, Allison tells Natalie to get rid of John or both Roxy and the baby die. Natalie lets John in and explains that Roxy isn’t there, John is very suspicious of Natalie behavior and pulls his gun, only to find the rest of the salon empty. John explains that Allison has escaped and might be after her or Jessica. Natalie plays dumb, hoping not to tip of John. John suggests that Natalie go away for a while, which Natalie agrees with all to readily. John now knows that something is up, Natalie tells John that she’s been thinking about going away ever since Marty got pregnant because she can’t stop thinking about her feelings for John. John agrees that it would be best for Natalie to go away and figure things out.

Allison holds a gun to Roxy, forcing Roxy to let Allison into a hotel room at the Angel Square Hotel. After Allison ties up Roxy, she calls Schuyler. Allison tells Schuyler that if he ever wants to see Sierra Rose alive again he only has to do one thing – break Mitch out of prison. . .
