    • 1). Use American Relief Foundation's online donation form (see Resources) to help Milwaukee children in crisis. The form is simple, and you only need to input your car's basic information, such as condition, year, make, model and mileage. A representative from American Relief Foundation will call to set up a pickup time. Cars are towed free of charge. Hand the towing company your car title when they arrive. Wait for your car to sell to receive a tax deductible receipt for your donation.

    • 2). Donate your car to Milwaukee's Habitat for Humanity chapter. Fill out the online donation form (see Resources), which will ask for your car's basic information as well as some additional details. You will need to know your VIN number and body type. Use the text box to inform Habitat for Humanity about any other issues your car may have. A representative will then review your information and give you a call to set up a pickup time. Sign and release your car title when the towing company arrives. A receipt for the sales price of your car will be mailed to you. (Note: If the sales price is less than $500, you will receive a receipt for the IRS's minimum $500.)

    • 3). Help a seriously ill child get a wish by donating your car to Wisconsin's Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish Foundation accepts car donations through Cars 4 Causes. You can contact them by calling 888-502-2818 or by using their online donation form (see Resources). A representative will call to schedule a pickup time with a Milwaukee towing company. Receipts are mailed once the car is sold. Again, you will need to turn in your car title along with the car.
