Be sure to inspect you wiper blades occasionally. If you notice loose pieces or cracked and worn blades it's time to change them. Sometimes road film can build up on the wipers and affect the efficiency of your blades. You can wash them from time to time with a mild soap and rinse clean. If blades are cracked, worn, or warped you will need to replace them as soon as possible.

    • 2). You will want to raise the wiper's assembly arm away from the windshield. A lever is then pressed on the assembly arm to release blade. Slide the wiper blade out of the hook to the end of the arm.

    • 3). You will need needle nose pliers to compress the blade element (rubber piece of wiper) to slide it from the frame of the wiper. The element is what is being replaced. Discard the old element and replace it with the new one.

    • 4). To reinstall, follow directions in reverse.
