How to Remove Scuffs From Laminate Flooring
- 1). Rub a large pink eraser over the scuff mark on the laminate flooring. Wipe the eraser and scuff mark residue from the floor with a damp paper towel.
- 2). Mix 3 tbsp. baking soda with enough water to create a thick paste. Apply the paste thinly to the scuff mark. Rub the paste into the mark with damp cloth. The baking soda contains enough grit to loosen the scuff marks without damaging the laminate floor.
- 3). Wipe the baking soda paste from the floor with a damp rag after it has sufficiently loosened the scuff stain. Dry the floor with a clean cloth after removing all traces of the scuff mark and cleaning paste.
- 4). Spray a laminate floor cleaner onto the flooring and wipe clean with a soft cloth. The cleaner restores shine that diminished during the cleaning process.
