    • 1). Attach the square wooden post to the center of the square of plywood using a nail and wood glue. Allow the wood glue to dry before moving to the next step.

    • 2). Measure and mark 1 inch down from the top on one side of the post, 3 inches down on another side, 5 inches down on yet another side and 7 inches down on the final side.

    • 3). Drill a hole a 1/2 inch deep at the marks you just made.

    • 4). Coat the inside of the holes with wood glue and insert a dowel into each hole.

    • 5). Drill a 1/2-inch-deep hole in each of your wooden knobs.

    • 6). Coat the inside of the hole on each knob with wood glue and slide one knob on the end of each dowel.

    • 7). When the wood glue has dried, place your necklaces on the branches of your tree necklace, with the longest necklaces on the top branch and the shortest on the bottom.
