Drinking tea has always been a favourite beverage to drink and choosing the right sort of teapot is important for your kitchen and home.  Typically people think that teapots are made from pottery or ceramics but in these modern times there are a wide range of teapot made from glass. Glass teapots have become popular over the last few years because they do not retain the flavour of teas and therefore can be used for many different types of teas without loosing the taste. Even though glass is a brittle material many of the more modern glass teapots are made from strengthened glass and some are also shatter proof.

Teapots come in many colours and finishes like stainless steel teapots. Some of the more popular glass teapot colours include red glass teapots, black glass teapots white glass tea pots. Glass teapots are also available in a wide range of sizes, from simple one cup teapots to larger ones that can handle 10 or more cups of tea. Often people buy several teapots in order to ensure that while making different types of tea the flavour is not transferred.
