How to Train for VoIP & RoIP
- 1). Identify if you want to train for personal use or for business use. This could mean the difference between learning about how VoIP and RoIP work, or attaining a certification in both fields. You'll can train differently, depending on if you want a certification or not.
- 2). Decide on a certified training professional or professionals (skip to step 3 if you don't wish to earn a certification). When choosing a training professional, don't assume they provide certification. Get it in writing before you or your company pay the cost of training.
- 3). Choose either a website or a training program -- or a mix of the two. Many websites, such as Voip-info.org, offer general information that you can use to train yourself on the basics of VoIP or RoIP. You could also choose a company that will offer in-class training. Generally, an official training program will teach you more technical knowledge. Training yourself by reading information from a website will only teach you general information.
