Remember those carefree and happy times when you were younger and had just met the love of your life? Weren't they great days? I guess you probably couldn't wait for your next date so you could just be with each other again.
I bet you could recall a song or two that was a hit at the time you were falling in love.
I guarantee it will still be one of your favourite songs even today.
Nothing else seemed to matter just as long as you were together! You were in love and your life seemed so perfect.
Sadly, these days you seem to be more concerned with "is your relationship dying" than anything else.
What went wrong? Like most couples, little things like - mortgages, kids, careers and finances etc can all get in the way of any relationship.
With everything that happens in our daily lives, it is very easy to end the day having spent little or no time just with each other.
Little things start to become big things and before you know it, you start to resent your partner.
It is a far cry from the old days where you had nothing to think about but each other.
If this sounds anywhere near where you are at the moment, then it's time to take some time out and see what can be done to stop your relationship dying.
The best thing you could do, if you believe your relationship is dying, is to get some time away together - just the two of you.
This is so important because if you are not strong as a couple then everything else around you can start to fall apart.
Talk with each other, but more importantly listen to what is being said.
It is important that you are honest with each other and openly state how you feel.
That will give you a really good spring board to work out what needs fixing and to ultimately getting your relationship back on track.
It is not easy to start the ball rolling here but if you can work together, you both deserve to enjoy a long term loving and successful partnership.
This is how it all started for you and wouldn't it be great if you could rekindle the feeling that you had for each other in those early days? It will never be exactly the same, but it still can be extremely good albeit, in a different way.
Sometimes we have to swallow our pride and apologise for whatever we did or didn't do.
If it saves your relationship, it will be well worth it.
