Sound Healing and healing with crystals are both powerful modalities on their own.
Put them together and you have a way to transform your healing work, raising it to new levels.
There is a lovely symbiosis between crystals and sound.
All crystal resonates to a particular note or tone in the scale.
To determine this tone, just hold a crystal in your receptive hand (usually the left hand, although in left-handed people it can be the right hand).
Tone the scale for several octaves (do re mi, etc.
) beginning with the lower range and going as high as is comfortable for your voice.
You will find a particular note (or notes) where the crystal will amplify the sound.
You may also feel the crystal begin to vibrate in your hand, or feel it heat up This note is the natural resonant frequency of the crystal.
Some people can hear this note simply by picking up the crystal or focusing on it visually.
Work with this note and a specific intention, and you can amplify the strength of the crystal.
You can use this tone to clear the crystal, to amplify the healing energy of the crystal, to bring any crystal to its highest natural state.
To use sound in your crystal healing, find the resonant tone and begin to tone into the base of the crystal.
This sound will then be amplified and transmitted through the point of the crystal.
Sound, light, and your specific intention is then directed to the person you are working with for healing.
If you are working on a particular chakra, toning the note into the chakra area adds an additional dimension to the healing.
Another way to amplify the energies of crystals used in healing is to sound a tuning fork over the crystal.
Simply tap the fork which corresponds to the crystal's resonant tone (the note C, for example) and hold it to the crystal.
It can touch the crystal or be held just above it, depending on the intensity you desire.
You can hold the crystal to the person receiving the healing, or you can lay the crystal on their body and sound your voice or the tuning fork into the crystal.
