How to Clean Granite Surfaces
- 1). Use your very fine steel wool to buff away any stains or black marks on the granite. Use only very fine steel wool, because coarser steel wool may scratch your granite surface.
- 2). Mix ¼ cup of isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a few drops dishwashing detergent in a quart-sized spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with water.
- 3). Spray your granite surface with this mixture, covering the entire surface.
- 4). Rub the mixture gently with a washcloth to clean the entire granite surface.
- 5). Rinse the granite surface with warm water.
