Now Offering FPOS-I Courses!
We are very pleased to announce our edexcel accreditation has been extended and we are a fully authorised centre for the delivery of the IHCD First Person on Scene Intermediate (FPOS(i)).
The FPOS (First Person on Scene) course is designed to take the First Aider on to the next skill level, and satisfies the requirements for some SIA qualifications and Patient transfer roles with NHS Trusts.
Students will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment, stabilisation and transfer of both the trauma victim and those suffering a medical emergency. The course is approved by Edexcel and is IHCD managed.
FPOS(i) training is run over 5 days and includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round First Responder.
There are no prerequisites for the FPOS Intermediate course and anybody wishing to enhance and build upon their first responding skills is welcome to attend where you will be taught by fully qualified and experienced paramedics.
The IHCD (Institute of Health Care Development - a division of Edexcel - the UK's largest qualification Awarding Body) is the 'Accreditation Body' of the National (NHS) Ambulance Service and is responsible for the issuing of all the certification qualifications throughout the Ambulance Services.
