- Rice-Judson Scholarships, merit-based scholarships awarded by the Southern Baptist Seminary to first-semester master's-level students, provide $2,500 in financial assistance over two semesters. To qualify for this scholarship, students need a 3.5 GPA and must enroll as a full-time student. To apply, send a Southern Baptist Seminary scholarship application, a letter describing your experience in ministry and leadership and two letters of recommendation to the Southern Baptist Seminary Financial Aid Office by August 4 if enrolling for the fall semester, or January 2 if enrolling for the spring semester.

sbts.edu - Woman's Auxiliary Scholarships, scholarships awarded to full-time master's level female students who become members of the Women's Auxiliary, provide $1,500 in financial assistance annually. Members of the Woman's Auxiliary provide support to female students of the seminary and the wives of male seminary students. Full-time female students qualify for the Woman's Auxiliary Scholarship if they maintain a 3.0 GPA, commit to attending at least three Woman's Auxiliary meetings,and belong to a local Southern Baptist church.

Out-of-state students who do not qualify for scholarships in their home state may choose to become Kentucky residents while attending Southern Baptist Seminary. To become a resident of Kentucky, you must provide a lease, home deed or utility bill showing a local address to the Kentucky Department of Motor Vehicles in order to obtain a Kentucky driver's license.
